Q - How do I pay for my entry?
A - Entry fees must be paid behind the bar via card or cash. The bar staff have a list of the amounts owed by each entrant.
Q - When do I need to play my group matches by?
A - All group matches must be played by Sunday 6th July 2025, all matches unplayed by this date will be declared “no result”.
Q - How do I organise singles and mixed doubles matches against my opponents?
A - Players in singles and mixed doubles need to contact their opponents to organise a date and time to play their matches. This can be done in person if you see them down the club or via messaging them. If you are struggling to organise a match with an opponent then you must contact Christian D’Angelo, failure to do so and failing to organise/play the match will mean a match will be declared “no result” and no points awarded.
Q - How do we organise our men’s/women’s doubles matches against our opponents?
A - Men’s & women’s doubles matches are intended to be completed on the respective men’s and women’s nights and pairs will be organised by Nick Mantle, Christian D’Angelo & Hayley Vernon. Please speak to Nick & Hayley if you wish to play a match on a Monday or Wednesday night. Players are however welcome to organise matches for other dates when players are free.
Q - What is the format of the matches?
A - Group matches and knockout matches will be played to best of 3 sets with a championship tie break to 10 points being played for the 3rd set.
Q - Who provides balls and lights for the matches?
A - Players are to organise who will provide balls, balls can be purchased from behind the bar. If lights are required then players must use light tokens which can also be purchased behind the bar.
Q - How do I report my match results?
A - All match results (including the set scores) must be sent to Christian D’Angelo as soon as possible after a match has been completed.
